Our workload has recently increased to such an extent that we now have a need to recruit an Health, Safety and Environmental Consultant to provide specific support to enable the company to meet the existing and future needs of our clients. The role attracts a salary of circa £25,000 per annum (depending upon experience and qualifications) plus other benefits. The ideal person must reside within easy commuting distance of Birmingham and also have the following attributes: * Appropriate qualifications in health and safety e.g. NEBOSH Diploma/NVQ Level 4/Post Grad Diploma (holders of other relevant qualifications will be considered on merit). * Membership of a relevant professional body. * At least 2 years experience as a practitioner, consultant or enforcer. * Auditing experience. * Excellent communication and report writing skills. * Excellent planning and time management skills. * The ability to grow exisitng business and search out new business. The position may ideally suit someone who is currently in a full time role and looking to move into consultancy. This position is quite imminent so a long notice period with a current employer is likely to be prohibitive.
