Posted By GJB Hello Shaz,
Generally most people that tell you it is a waste of time have either never bothered to study for it or have so many qualifications that they see it as a 'minor' step to their personal Kingdom of Knowledge!
I would suggest it is worth having, but more importantly, back it up afterwards with experience.
I wish you every success.

Posted By sharon Field thanks for the response and e.mail that you have all sent much appreciated I would hate to think I had spent all those hours studying for nothing. I have four years part time and two years full time experience as a health & safety advisor. regards shaz
