Depends on what their level of responsibility is?

Supervisors / Managers - IOSH Managing Safely Course??

General Operatives - IOSH Working Safely or your own induction package?

I am currently looking for work and several vacancies have been asking for some form of teaching / training qualification.

Can anyone advise me on the most appropriate qualification in a health and safety context.

Thanks

I would say you need the PTTLS qualification plus a NEBOSH Health and Safety Certificate as a minimum. From PTTLS (Preparing to train i9n the lifelong learning sector)you can advance to PGCertEd.

Assuming you have the appropriate H&S qualification and experience, I would say a train the trainer qualification would be a very minimum.

The City and Guilds 7300 is a basic teaching qual and has been mentioned you could enrol at your local college on the 7303 and if you wanted to go ones step futher 7304 and CertEd if you had the time and money.

This question has been asked and discussed on here many times before. A search for CIEH will turn up most of the previous threads.
