Posted By Tim Robertson The RNLI have recently appointed 10 Regional Education Officers across the country to co-ordinate RNLI water safety education for young people. All these education officers are seeking to identify , train and support volunteers to make presentations at schools and youth groups about the work of the RNLI and to teach basic water safety messages to people below the age of 18 years. They are interested in networking with local organisations involved in Health and Safety Education to become involved in Youth Safety events such as Crucial Crew and Junior Citizen Schemes as well as schools and youth groups.
