Hello everybody
I have recently taken the role of quality manager in my company and the first problem I am facing is to establish a process for internal communication. I would be very grateful if someone could give some ideas about this process

Hi,
Try listing your current communications,typically:
Daily, weekly, monthly meetings.
Department meetings.
Ad hoc project meetings.
Formal "state of the nation" statements and staff briefings.
Complaints procedure.
You could also list external communications in the same "Communications document", such as:
Government national, local, and technical agencies
Neighbours
Memberships of "professional organisations" (IOSH??)
When you have done this, some of the "fog" may begin to clear!

Hi Jose,
I have used 'team briefing' as a model for promoting internal communication in the past. This method can be used to communicate not only upon general business and quality related information, but also environmental and health & safety (from an ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 perspective) .You can find further details of the benefits and methods at www.businessballs.com/teambriefing.htm
