Posted By John Murphy Nik. My Council has just completed the development of an Intranet based accident-reporting package. It provides full accident report and investigation facilities and an analysis package. It works on a principle that once an accident is reported the details are routed to the individuals manager who must undertake or arranges an accident investigation (depending on the type of accident) . Only if the safety adiviser responsible for maintaining the system is satisfied with the AI report will the accident be closed down.
