When the fire alarm sounded recently, a student, with special educational needs, refused to move to a place of safety, and resisted attempts to remove him physically from the classroom, puting the student and others at risk - all in contravension of our H&S policy and fire action procedures. However, any obvious action which can be taken is complicated by current disability legislation which requires us to make provision for students with disabilities. Any advice would be most welcome.
