Posted By Merv Newman Jon, try "improving safety culture" by Dominic Cooper, "The values based safety process" by Terry McSween, "Bringing out the best in people" by Aubrey Daniels. The last two I got through Amazon. Google the names to find their web sites. OutTakes has a good video "The simple things" and also "Safety Watch". Adress is 139 High Street Beckenham Kent BR3 1AG, 0181 289 2466 e-mail me If I can help any more

Posted By Andy Barker I would recommend you start with 2 HSE publications: HSG48 Reducing error and influencing behaviour and improving compliance with safety procedures (ISBN 0 7176 0970 7). The latter provides good tools for determining if you have technical, procedural or behavioural problems which may be helpful in leading you towards or away from a behavioural safety' program. Good luck!

Posted By Raymond Rapp Jon You may wish to have a look at an alternative view of behavioural safety. Hazards magazine (web site) will have some info in their archives. Ray
