I am reviewing our Colleg Risk Assessments and have found them to be poor in regard to dangers to young persons (14-18)
To help our assessors I am planning on making up an aide giving them generic hazards and controls I would expect them to identify within their areas. These areas include, kitchens, construction, hairdressing etc.
Has anyone doen anything like this and if so could I have a look at what you have done?
I have the HSE documents HSG 199 (H&S in work experience) and INDG 364 (H&S basic for emploers- work experience for young people)
Many thanks
Ian

Hi
Try the Department of Education website they have free publications on work experience that are issued to children before they enter a workplace (or should be)

Don't have anything to hand but it is important to take into account young persons attitude and perception of hazards, also the requirement for close supervision.
