Is an employee who suffers an injury at work entitled to a copy of the entry in the accident book if he/she so requests?

Yes!

Accident books are covered by the Data Protection Act, so an individual is entitled to a copy of information pertaining to themselves

Employees should be allowed free access. For one thing, the record allows employees to claim inductrial injury benefit.
