Posted By Heather Aston Yes, I know it's not Friday, but I'm out at a meeting all day tomorrow so I'm starting early. What's the "H&S" (in its widest sense) question you get asked most often? I'll start with: "What's the maximum working temperature in the factory?" and "What's the maximum weight operators are allowed to lift?" Any others? Heather

Posted By Mark Bywater Regarding our site speed limit - How fast is 10MPH then? Working at height - How high is 2 meteres? You get the gist by now - How heavy is 25kgs? Me: Why aren't you wearing your hearing protection? Operator: Speak up I can't hear you! Can I borrow the company camera? - I'm going to make a claim and I want to take a photo of the accident. Safety! That's not my job, it's yours isn't it? I've lost my wallet / purse / handbag / umbrella etc. What are you gonna do about it? When are YOU going to fix X, Y & Z? Can I be a risk assessor it looks easy? Are you checking up on me? I'll get the union onto you. And there are lots more, but I'll give someone else a chance. Mark
