Posted By J Knight At Leonard Cheshire we used the Bar Convent in York (it's not a hotel or pub, it is actually a Convent) for our regional team meetings. It's about 10 minutes walk from the station (5 for me but I walk very fast) and has fantastic home made biscuits, as well as being a very beautiful building. I don't know how much it costs, but can't imagine its too steep as LC is a Charity and our region didn't have a great deal of dosh to throw around. Posted By J Knight Haven't used the Priory centre, we used the Beechwood to good effect, they are good, but for the bigger meetings (when the whole team, c 30 people was present) they didn't have the room, so we alternated with them and the Bar Convent, John
