Posted By Frank Hallett Contact the Community Fire Safety or Fire Investigation Dept at your local FS HQ. Try to talk with the Senior Staff Officer or Training Officer at the very least.
I presume that there is a sound reason for the request and that you can offer the FS some incentive to be involved/ Don't let them take over though.

Posted By Kirstyh Thanks for that, I have emailed them, but have been told by a colleague not to expect a quick response!

Posted By Frank Hallett Hi Kirsty. Don't email the FS - get on their front door or you probably won't get a response that you can use.
Newspapers are always good as identified earlier.

Posted By Sean Cusack If you visit the Council's website http://www.cumbria.gov.u...cidents/2005/default.asp you will see a listing of all the fires that have happened in the area this year. It then gives a contact name and telephone number for each fire. For example June 22nd saw a fire involving a cash register at Barrow's ASDA store. Further details can be obtained from Grm Higgins B division headquarters on 01229 615723 during normal office hours.
