Posted By J Knight Guidance to orkplace regs (para 76 - 80) says you should have a minimum of 11 cubic metres per person, not counting any space above 3 metres from the ground (so a one metre by one metre by 11 metres high room would not be big enough!). However, you should take furniture into account if there is an unusually large amount, and the nature of the work would have some bearing as well, though normal sedentary office work would not need additional space, John
