Hi,
In Malta there is no applicable standard to guide by re office dimensions and occupancy. Normally when we lack such guidlines, UK or EU practices are applied. Is there anybody who could help with this issue?

Try Building Regulations Approved Document B (Fire Safety). Gives floor space factors etc for a variety of purpose groups. Available online at www.odpm.gov.uk in Building Regs section

Guidance to orkplace regs (para 76 - 80) says you should have a minimum of 11 cubic metres per person, not counting any space above 3 metres from the ground (so a one metre by one metre by 11 metres high room would not be big enough!). However, you should take furniture into account if there is an unusually large amount, and the nature of the work would have some bearing as well, though normal sedentary office work would not need additional space,
