Just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for any pointers, guidance, info, etc on employing persons above retirement age. The employee would be working in a builders merchant environment.
Just looking to form a policy and any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
AJ

Andy im in a similar position only i have the directors father-in-law who is 72 years old and comes in to work 4 days a week by himself at 6.00am until 10.am and he works on a mezzanine floor with no communication system (telephones, mobiles) at all. As i have have mentioned this a few times about lone working and his age the matter goes straight to one side....everybody is dreading if the unthinkable happens...i have just got to keep dropping hints
regards
A
