heres something I just done, can you tell I don't like mondays?

A week long toil
forgotten in a glass
out on the town
its Friday at last

2 days a week
time off of your own
a layin in bed
time recovering at home

Sunday has come
A day of fun and games
then gone and forgotten
despair, its monday again

Maybe I could think of something pertanent to safety later :-)

I showed the two poems to our receptionist and she rattled this off. A bit of a Pam Ayres our Hazel......

Hello, lets talk to all the staff
To keep them safe but make them laugh!
There's lots of dangers we don't see
The dodgy step, hot cups of tea,
the plant which hangs down in the way
why walk when you can run, we say
the mat that moves when wiping feet
the empty sweet bag on your seat!
The wires laying on the floor
the wonky handle on the door
The fancy shoes, the longer skirt
We always hope we wont get hurt!
So just beware and walk not run,
health and safety can be fun
Don't lark about along the hall
it could be wet, and you could fall
Don't try to tap dance on the stairs
don't fondle staff or have affairs!
don't leave the toilet in a mess
folk have hurt themselves on less!
Make sure your chairs's the proper height
dangling feet make backs so tight
no-one likes their back to ache
so do your best to sit up straight.
All these silly things are true
So now I leave it up to you!
