Posted By J.JARVIS we intend to have a familly fun day on site to celebrate the companies 10 year aniversary.What if any health and safety problems should we be looking at.we are looking at bouncy castles/possible alchoholic drinks/face painting/barbercues/first aid for about 200/security/photographer. thanks john jarvis

Posted By Les Fullwood You should be looking at risk assessing the event. We had a similar day and had to ensure that all electrical equipment was either locked off or isolated. You may want to also consider erecting barriers to stop children, etc wandering into areas where they should not be.

Posted By garyOrange J If you aree thinking about providing alcholic drinks and if you are providing certain entertainment at your event the requirements of the Licensing Act 2003 will need to be taken into account and you may need to apply for a Temporary Event Notice (TEN. Note a TEN only covers an event where there will be no lore than 499 people at any one time. If you exceed this you need a Premise licence to cover your event, even though it will be on private property.
