Posted By Homer Strange request but can anyone help? I am after childrens dress up PPE in the form of a builders hat and a hi-viz. The reason behind this is a local nursery school has requested a site visit and we would like to give them a keep sake to also incresae safety awareness. Now before anyone starts, the trip will be risk assessed and they will not require real PPE, as they will not be exposed to any hazards, and will be escorted on designated walkways only. If anyone can recommend anything at a resaonable cost I would appreciate this....or any other suggestions as to a nice momento. Maybe IOSH would like to donate a few bits and pieces?

Posted By Sheila EJ Keogh You should be able to get builder's "outfits"; firemens', etc at Mothercare, Toys r Us, Woolworths, ELC and any other childrens' toys outlets. Expect to pay around £10-ish per outfit. I hope the kids have fun!

Posted By Salus most "hard hats" can be adjusted to fit, and they do go down to a very small size. Hi-viz, just use small sizes, the kids will not mind, they will just accept, and it will be "real kit" another thought ,you could issue an safety type certifecate afterwards to all who take part.
