Posted By Will Dickson HI All, Wondered if anyone could help, I`ve been roped into assisting/taking part in a Charity Marathon Cycle event. Looking to cover all my bases on a H/S front, such as risk assessment, how many first aiders and I`m sure the list is endless, any help on this one would be greatly appreciated.

Posted By J Knight Would just add to Arran's very excellent advice; in case you're not familiar with them Will, this is the Cyclists Touring Club, the biggest cycling association in the UK, and you can find them on www.ctc.org.uk, John

Posted By Jo Scott Smith You might find "The good practice safety guide for small and sporting events taking place on the highway, roads and public places" useful. Its a home office publication. Don't have a web address where you can download it but will email it to you. JO
