Hi Safetynut,
Depending on what you want it for; did you know that FSOs are now saying that if you train people to use 'safer food - better business' properly they won't need any other training? That's what they've told us in a couple of parts of the country, at any rate,
John

A very Large chain of Restaurant outlets similar to "finger licken" if you know what i mean require kitchen cooking procedure manuals preparing due to a recent EHO inspection.

I have used a local friendly business in the past with great success
I can forward the details if you require
But it really depends on what level of training you require
Have you thought about training one member to a high level then in house training ??

Are your local EHOs unable to help on this one?

Campden Food and Drink Research Assoc. produced an excellent guide to this topic. If you search for them on the Internet I am sure you will find their website with the details. If not then let me know.

Hi maybe not that helpful as i am not based in the west midlands..but we use a local FE college for food safety training. Might try your local one.

Contact your Local Authority Environmental Health Department. As far as I am aware, most of them will provide training in food safety and supply a hard copy of Safe Food, Better Business (Cooksafe for Scotland) which contains procedures, monitoring forms etc. Foundation course costs around £50 per head.
Hope this helps.
