Posted By GT Steve and Raymond, Thank you for the positive feed back. I am aware of the lighting issue and I thank you for mentioning it and the uses you have applied this equipment. I have particular issues with the risks associated with its use at night which revolve around The terrain and location on which this equipment can or will be used. Is sufficent lighting provided by the vehicle to traverse sites at night. Is there special training for operation at necessary. What are the effects on judging distances due to artificial lighting standards and the strike into rate for allowing such use. Is this aspect of lifting people to a higher level any different to lifting loads at night and do would members be happy to approve crane lifts on construction sites at night in respect of the limited lighting that could well be available. What emergency considerations or controls would you put in place to deal with this. I would be interested in comments from all what are other construction companies doing ?? Regards GT
