Posted By saira adams I'm really not sure if this is a daft question or not, but does anyone think that it is possible in a coffee making machine (cafe shop type) that the water could be maintained within the machine bewteen the 20 and 45 degrees and then be dispersed in a steam form. Again, sounds silly, but any thoughts????

Posted By 9-Ship Very much doubt it, if the coffee machine is in regular use and the water is boiling/close to boiling temp.
From memoery the bug likes water in the range of 20-45 deg C and is killed above about 60 deg C. Basically it likes about body temperature.

Posted By Kate Graham Steam (evaporated water) doesn't carry legionella, only water droplets (sprayed off the liquid) can.
