Hi All,

I am after some guidance re the new work time directive(?) regarding minimum holiday entitlement. I know the minimumis increasing in stages from 20 to 24 then to 28 in coming years , however, heres my situation...

My contract states that I get 20 days. Nothing else is mentioned However, I am deducted 3/4 days to cover the xmas shutdown so that leaves approx 16. I also get all bank and public holidays, (although not mentioned in my contract).

As it stands, will get an extra 4 days in October or is there some odd escape clause that the Company can hide behind?

Many thanks

Holmezy

(in need of a holiday!!!)
