Posted By Russell Peacey I would be grateful if anybody could tell me the principal Fire Safety statute(s) for the Republic of Ireland.I haven't had much luck with google. I need to know whether Ireland has a Fire Certificate system, or as I suspect this has been replaced by Fire Risk Assessment.
I would also like to know if any Institutions would be exempt from such requirements.
Thanks
Russ

Posted By Jessica B Hi Russell,
The new General Application Regulations 2007 contain some info about Fire RA's, also check out the Fire Services Act 1981.

Posted By Dave McCarthy Russel,
Look at Part B of the Building Regulations 2000.
This is very similiar to the UK Regs. If you can't get it yourself, please email me directly and i will forward you a copy.
Regards,
Dave
