Another marine based query – not really my field.

If any other practitioner out there has experience with using submersibles I would be grateful if they could contact me as we have project commencing in the field later in June and I am trying to get the conservation team involved the correct sort of information re. risk assessing one of these.

If this relates to you other inquiry have a word to Glasgow or Southampton University I believe they both use submersibles but I may be wrong.

Sorry, John, Glasgow University has several ships, but no submersibles AFAIK. Nevertheless, I'll ask around and post again if I can help

When I was a student at Strathclyde Uni if you'd have given me a boat and pointed in toward the clyde I could guarentee I'd have sunk it before I'd have event got to the other side of George Street.

Can only assume that Glasgow Uni are placing a lot more faith in folk.
