Posted By Andrew Robertson-Böber Another marine based query – not really my field.
If any other practitioner out there has experience with using submersibles I would be grateful if they could contact me as we have project commencing in the field later in June and I am trying to get the conservation team involved the correct sort of information re. risk assessing one of these.

Posted By Dr. Andrew Rankine Sorry, John, Glasgow University has several ships, but no submersibles AFAIK. Nevertheless, I'll ask around and post again if I can help

Posted By Andrew Robertson-Böber When I was a student at Strathclyde Uni if you'd have given me a boat and pointed in toward the clyde I could guarentee I'd have sunk it before I'd have event got to the other side of George Street.
Can only assume that Glasgow Uni are placing a lot more faith in folk.
