Posted By Tim S I've been asked a question by one of out maintenance guys regarding qualifications / certification for working on industrial gas installations, curing ovens and the like. I know for domestic installations operatives have to be CORGI registered, but I'm sure I've read somewhere that this doesn't apply in a factory etc. Anybody any comments?

Posted By Alan Spiers You are correct CORGI & ACS training etc does not cover the work on factory eqiupment but does cover commercial boilers however you obviously have to satisfy competence issues of those carrying out the work.

Posted By Chris Pope I have found a chape called Bob Clark at Peninsular training in Langport very knowledgeable on this specific issue. He will probably be able to explain to you relevant modules your men should have.
