If you set up a management company and sub contract all your work and conduct contractor vetting via questionnaire's, conduct site visits to ensure that the sub contractors are conducting work in a safe manner what other issues should be addressed?

If you operate in the construction field, you might have a problem fulfilling the CDM Principal Contractor role?

I would be looking at the contract and insurance liabilities for both parties as well as making sure the assessment process followed best practice in SESPA.

Works would be involving fitting and servicing different types of electrical doors so would not fall under the CDM Regs.

CDM? I beg to differ.
You should also undertake Checks on accreditations, memberships, H & S Policy & arrangements, insurance, and seek references.
