Posted By Tabs I am bewildered. The screen is there to communicate information critical to customer satisfaction. I would want to make absolutely sure my business did not face jeopardy through wrong items being dispatched ... of course I would pay for eye tests :-) H&S Laws are there to protect people, but few of them are needed if business risks are well managed.

Robert, This was discussed at lenght a short time ago, using the opinions given then and using the same type as equipment you descibe for similar purposes i timed the amount of actual use of the terminals both hand held and FLT mounted, in both cases actual use was below 1 hour per day and therefore operators were classed as non users of DSE at this time. will review in 6 months or if proceedures change. hope this helps Andy
