Posted By Tabs As many people as it takes to complete the task within the time frame you find acceptable. Ten people might do the job in two weeks (depending on how many risk assessments need to be written). Twenty people might do it in one week. Five people might take four weeks. There is no definitive answer - other than the people doing it must be competent and have knowledge of the processes to enable a suitable and sufficient assessment to be made.

One of the indicators of a competent worker is that they are aware of the hazards and controls associated with their work activities, therefore, as the ones responsible for the work activity the act of assessing the hazards and associated risks means that they retain control over what they are doing, thus increasing the quality and thus the safety of what they do Regards, Philip
