Its hardly going to be in the public interest to prosecute for non compliance if somebody fails to inform you of their bad back and subsequent absence !!!

Slightly tangential but now is the time to comment on the new RIDDOR proposals using the IOSH website.
All the anomallies that are regularly featured on these forums could be mentioned.
So comment now and if nothing is done then we can all whinge legitimately that our views were not condidered.

Apologies to all for any confusion caused, tried link myself and was informed I needed to be logged on (even though I clearly was)
