Good morning all,
Would anyone have detail and/or guidelines on conducting and facilitating a HAZID workshop. The industry involved is offshore wind.
Best regards,
R

I chair/manage/supervise/lead HAZID and HAZOP studies on a frequent basis.
You will need to develop a good list of relevant guidewords to help prompt discussion during the HAZID study.

It is good practice for the HAZID leader to be independent of the project.

I would advise that you get appropriately trained and start as a team member before you become a lead

Thank you all, the guidelines are not for me to become a facilitator, more for a taster and understanding of the whole process. I've been involved in lots of HAZOPS but not really delved into HAZIDS yet.
Thanks,
R

I would also be interested in HAZID Facilitators/Chairs to carry out a HAZID workshop.

How does a Hazid differ from a Hazop and where did the term/technique come from?

A HAZID tends to look at wider project risks/hazards and is usually done at a 'higher' level.
A traditional HAZOP is more concerned with temperatures, pressures, levels etc in a fluid or gas based system.
Although by adapting the guidewords and parameters HAZOP can be used on a wider range of topics/issues
