IOSH MS - Online v Classroom... experiences & advice?

Apart from the obvious differences in the above subject and the delivery methods, does anyone have any experiences and/or advice they could offer? You know pros and cons.
I'm just planning ahead in terms of relinquishing some of my work and I'd like to provide my clients with all the relevant advice and options. Thanks.

I think it does depend on the delegates preferred learning styles and their availability.
Many years ago I used the IOSH Working safely with some front line operators - it worked well as it was modular, they could do it at their own convenience and used each other/H&S team/TU H&S Reps as a support network.
There was quite a long period of time given to complete the whole course with mini tests along the way.

As far as I'm concerned there is no substitute for personal instruction.
Most of the 'e' training packages which I have used allow you to skip through the presentation and go straight to the assessment. I believe that most students learn more from taking a personal part in the training e.g. by having a dialogue with the instructor and having the chance of asking questions, rather than just reading something on their monitor.
Unfortunately most larger companies tend to opt for the cheaper 'e' learning alternative which allows more of their personnel to be trained in a shorter time at less cost.

Many thanks everyone for the postings above as well as the PMs - comments are as I expected, I just wanted to check that I wasn't missing anything earth shattering and so subsequently I'll certainly be recommending the clients stay with classroom style.
