There is the "remember Charlie" video It is an hour long and you have to buy it. I think it was around £650. It is the injured person standing on a stage giving a talk on what happened to him and his family and other in the hospital with him. He worked for petrochemical company, didn't do as he should, got badly burned, though he was not gruesome to look at. The story gets to you. He did not blame the company he blamed himself for not following the rules. I think he was making a living telling the story. We showed it to our entire workforce including Accounts etc. Some men shrugged their shoulders, some close to tears. If you can find someone local with a copy who would be willing to show you before you buy, would allow you to assess. Chris

'The Cost of Accidents'. Was produced by SGB (now Harsco). It seems to be on youtube and vimeo (though I don't know of the legality of its presence there) so you can see if it meets what you want. The DVD is £50 from http://www.cip-books.com/

Some good DVD's already mentioned, Martin's story from step change is really good and shows the impact from injured person,work colleagues and family. Its one of the best I have and it was free.

I have used this video in EHS presentations for the past few years. Its the only safety video that I have used that always seem to get lots of good feedback from employees. Its non cheesy, not too long (12 mins) and is very well made. It bascially explains (by telling a very interesting story) the consequences of committing unsafe acts. The twist at the end of the video always takes people by surprise and leaves them thinking..
