Not even subtle. The idea that someone would build a walk-in fridge themselves is one for a scientist or engineer in a laboratory, except perhaps for someone in a remote location where modern technology is hard to come by.

Good question.

If you read the Forum Rules, you will see that they have some words about Moderation and even set a person specification for a Moderator.

Unfortunately, the last people meeting that specification resigned in 2018 and have yet to be replaced.

So, it appears that since then IOSH staff have been occasionally doing some moderation and that has included taking down spam posts, but not consistently.

Hence, a post that would have been removed within 48 hours (usually MUCH quicker) in days past can now remain in place for a considerable time or be left alone completely.
