Afternoon Guys,
Having spent the last few months grafting away trying to gain UKATA accreditation to deliver Asbestos Awareness training, the new kid on the block appears to be E-learning!
Could anyone explain how the authenticity and identity of the candidate can be established?
UKATA have strict criteria to become a training centre, but seem to relax this in the case of E-learning.
Having personally had experience of e-learning i appreciate it can be a good medium, However i would disagree with this in the instance of such a serious subject of possible asbestos exposure.

E -learning is the in-thing but U are correct about its effectiveness and other things in my opinion but management like it because its cheap and companies selling to businesses do what their clients want
Argue your case [if that is what you are doing] as the authenticity and identity of the candidate cannot be easily established nor can genuine feedback regarding learning as opposed to attending training be determined
