OSHCR & Off-Shore Health & Safety Positions

What impact (if any) will the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register (OSHCR) have on Off-Shore Health & Safety positions? will firms now be expected to employ off-shore H&S staff who are registered with OSHCR.
Thanks

Martin:
It shouldn't make any impact on those staff employed directly - the register is for 'consultants'...
It may happen that companies relying on consultancy support will start demanding evidence of OHSCR registration for all staff engaged in the contract - but I haven't seen any evidence of that so far...

Martin, I suspect that it will vary from organisation to organisation. For those that have a rigid procurement policy (that recognises the existance of OSHCR) there will probably be revelevant contract conditions requiring compliance. From a personal perspective, when I am reviewing CVs, it will make no difference - what I am looking for is relevant experience/qualifications and ongoing CPD activity. OSHCR in itself isn't a differentiator.
