When carrying out environmental impact assessments you need to be looking at all potential impacts on the environment, including noise & dust nuisances, accidental spread of invasive species e.g. Japanese Knotweed, disturbance of animals, birds, amphibians e.g. bats, bird nests, Great Crested Newts, as well as the more obvious spillages of fuels, oils etc from tools. You will also have to think about the waste hierarchy with respect to the disposal of any waste. The list goes on, good luck with it. Normal is cutting, etc, abnormal will be re-fueling chainsaws etc, emergency would be tool on fire, or leaking fuel.
