The wearing of hard hats on construction sites has been mandatory since the Construction (Head Protection) Regulations 1989 came into force.

I thought it was the case that if there was a risk of head injury then it was mandatory they must be worn. HSE website guidance also concurs with the above. Happy to be proved wrong though.

I got it FireSafety101 but i know anyway, the Construction (Head Protection) Regulations 1989 has been repealed, back 1012 i think.
