Hi all,

Does anyone know what the recommendations are re space per person in an office environment?

Can't remember the exact number at the moment but if you look in L24 Welfare Regs ACOP on HSE Books i remember there being a number in there.

It used to be 11 cubic metres but you don't callculate above 6 foot off the ground. I have never been anywhere that has this though.

97 In most workplaces 11 cubic metres (11 m3) of space per person should be taken as a minimum. This calculation should not take into account ceiling heights in excess of 3 m. A space of 11 m3 per person may be insufficient if much of the space is taken up with furnishing or equipment.
