Can't remember the exact number at the moment but if you look in L24 Welfare Regs ACOP on HSE Books i remember there being a number in there.

It used to be 11 cubic metres but you don't callculate above 6 foot off the ground. I have never been anywhere that has this though.

From L24 97 In most workplaces 11 cubic metres (11 m3) of space per person should be taken as a minimum. This calculation should not take into account ceiling heights in excess of 3 m. A space of 11 m3 per person may be insufficient if much of the space is taken up with furnishing or equipment.
