I started out as a Site Secretary looking after the administration on site and have progressed to Office Manager with responsibility for daily site inductions, weekly supervisors inspections and maintaining H & S records. I am currently undertaking the NEBOSH Certificate and I am trying to gain practical experience. I am finding it hard to get away from the administration side of H & S and gain real experience on site. Any advice would be most appreciated.

Unfortunately my company appear to be taking the attitude that H & S should be managed by the Project Managers on site and Health and Safety Advisor position are few and far between.
