Posted By garyh I used to be a DGSA; people were always saying that "the requirement to have the services of a DGSA will lead to a huge demand for consultant DGSAs".
However, this does not appear to be the case. The regs re apointment of DGSAs are simply not enforced.
Having said that, if you are looking for tranpsort work, the DGSA qualification is a useful tool.
