Anyone know of any part-time/consultancy work in the Transport Sector?

I used to be a DGSA; people were always saying that "the requirement to have the services of a DGSA will lead to a huge demand for consultant DGSAs".

However, this does not appear to be the case. The regs re apointment of DGSAs are simply not enforced.

Having said that, if you are looking for tranpsort work, the DGSA qualification is a useful tool.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info on DGSA, but I don't want to go there for the reasons you quote! Can do drivers hours and tacho training though!

Might be useful to add that I'm very interested in EU Training Directive and all its implications for transport sector, especially divising training programme for the retraining element.
