Posted By Jean Telstar are you referring to the Risk Practitioners Register. This is held by the Institute of Risk Management. http://www.theirm.org/co...arm_rrp_flyer_050629.pdf I belong to both. I have received some excellent information from their members. There is also a free legal helpline and a magazine each month with this membership. However, from an employment perspective it is generally membership of IOSH that is requested.

Posted By Norman Elkington Telstar Are you asking after the Register of Health and Safety Consultants? Lifted from the IOSH website two minutes ago...(17 Aug at 15:12 hrs) Overview The Institution has a Register of Health and Safety Consultants and offers a service to match IOSH members who are registered as consultants, with clients seeking health and safety advice. About the IOSH Register of Health and Safety Consultants How to find a consultant How to register as a consultant The aim of the Consultancy Services is: to make it easier for organisations, large and small, to gain access to professional advice on safety and health issues. to help clients by providing information to assist in their choice of consultant; to help members who are consultants by enabling them to demonstrate membership of a professional register. If so, I as a CMIOSH am actively using the regoister to source assistance in an area outside of my field...if this helps. Norman
