Posted By PBH Martin, Have you had you qualifications assessed by the relevant body yet? (usually vetassess). If not you should be aware that this alone can take several weeks to several months. Note that the NEBOSH dip & PgDip are NOT acceptable, only a degree or masters! (crazy I know). If you do a search of this forum you will find loads of info on the difficulties faced when wanting to migrate to Oz and in particular the qualifications assessment. Another website worth checking is www.immi.gov.au if you already haven't done so.
