Posted By Mark Preston This doesn't appear to me to have had much publicity so far - or if it has, it has passed me by - the HSE has just published a guide to measuring health and safety performance on its web site - expanding on the measuring performance chapter of HSG 65. You'll find it here… http://www.hse.gov.uk/opsunit/perfmeas.htm at the bottom of the page is a link to a pdf of the same HTH

Posted By Steve Conway For those interested in developing or gaining a better understanding of performance indicators/metrics, one of the items under "Further Information" in the HSE's publication may be of value. It is a powerpoint presentation "A new paradigm for health and safety metrics: Framework, tools, applications and opportunities" and can be found at the following address - www.orc-dc.com. If you experience problems with obtaining it I can send you a copy. Steve

Posted By Mark Preston If you have problems with the ORC url as given by Steve Conway try http://www.orc-dc.com/index.html The document referred to is http://www.orc-dc.com/me....toronto.10.2.01.two.ppt and with all those stops in the file name it will give problems to all but the most recent windows versions - just change all but the last one to underscores _
