Posted By Jerry Hill I am trying to put together a 'brief' employee handbook for a company who occasionally send staff onto offshore oil platforms to undertake performance testing of turbines etc. The company already ensures that all staff are trained by OPITO in The Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training Certificate. I have copies of a variety of Offshore Drilling Companies Safety booklets, but these obviously apply specific rules to specific platforms. What I am looking for, is to be able to provide general guidance applicable to platforms in general. Any ideas or am I trying to over-simplify something that shouldn't be over-simplified?
