Posted By John Taylor Has any one a conversion spread sheet I can have a copy of please or the formulae to convert from PPM to % volume for gas/substance testing ie from drager tube measurement expressed in PPM to % volume or v/versa or John Taylor

Posted By Paul Leadbetter John While converting ppm to mg m-3 is complicated (involving the molecular weight and the molar volume corrected for ambient temperature), converting ppm to % vol/vol is straightforward as 1% = 10,000 ppm. Paul

Posted By Paul Leadbetter John I should also have said that the conversion shoud only be used for gases and vapours. Concentrations of particulate contaminants should be expressed in ppm (weight/vol) or mg m-3. Paul
